My style is a unique, and refreshing, blend of impressionism and realism.

As you browse the gallery, you will see a strong appreciation I have for the Southwest. The colors, and styles, of the Southwest, are present in many of my works.

The featured painting, on this page, for this month, was quite a challenge, for many reasons. For example, it was my first portrait painting, and, my first large painting. My other art pieces are much smaller.
 
"THE PRO" began in a workshop, and blossomed into a unique, one-of-a-kind, vibrant, colorful, oil painting.
 
What inspired me to take-up such a challenge was my desire to always learn how to paint portraits.
 
And, what inspired me to paint the specific subject, "Mr. Peyton manning," is his incredible desire, precision, and calculation, to work at optimum level, which has led him to repeatedly achieve the highest level of sportsmanship, in the NFL.
 
I really enjoyed painting this portrait of "Mr. Peyton manning!" and, I hope he is as proud of his portrait as I am!
